The very popular game/soon to be franchise of Epic Game’s Gears of War has still got an almighty movie planned for Summer of 2010.

The current producer of the project Wyck Godfrey, has said that script and director are soon to "attach" and that a movie will be hitting the Silver Screen in late 010..10... 2010.

So with New Line Cinema aquiring the rights to the movie, and Stuart Beattie will be the one writing the script, if he hasn’t already. It’s also confirmed that the writers are working very closely with the big player down at Epic games. Cliffy B’ <- Top man

Gears of War: The Movie, is still yet a while away... Looks like Gears of War 2 will help to fill up about 4months of Gears withdrawl before the film comes out... Call of Duty 5 anyone ?
